Laconia-----Gary Lee Dubois 63, of Rowell Street died Friday, March 17, 2017 at his home.
Gary born July 24, 1953 in Laconia, NH son to the late Horace William and Ruth Delma (Kelly) Dubois. He was a machinist for Baron Machine and Aavid Engineering for many years before retiring. He served in the United States Navy on the USS Midway from 1972-1973. Gary enjoyed hunting, fishing and lending a helping hand to friends in need. Above all he loved riding his Harley with his wife, Cathy.
Gary is survived by his daughter, Jody Gillis and her husband, Scott of Laconia; two grandchildren, Scott Gillis Jr. and Joseph Gillis; a sister, Linda Lowell of Lebanon; six nephews, David, Darren and Darek Lowell, Max Dubois, Adam and Kevin Benwell; parents-in-laws, Courtney and Beverly Moore of Lakeport, brother-in-law, Courtney and his wife, Lisa of Manchester; sisters-in-law, Leslie Cyr and her husband, Randy of Gilford, Janell Moore of , Florida and Dawn Kilgellon of Laconia. In addition to his parent he is predecease by his loving wife of 38 years, Catherine Louise (Bowles) Dubois , a brother, David Dubois and a sister, Lori Benwell. and brother -in-law, Jimmy Lowell.
Calling hours will be held Friday, March 24, 2017 from 10:00am to 12:00-noon at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH using the Carriage House entrance.
A funeral service will follow at 12:00 - noon Friday, March 24, 2017 also at the funeral home.
A private burial will be in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen.
