Peggy Lamb Owens, 64, of Tifton passed away Monday, March 20, 2017, at Houston Medical Center in Warner Robins. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 23, 2017, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Terrell Roberts officiating. Mrs. Owens will be laid to rest at Tift Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 22, 2017, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Born June 4, 1952 in Moultrie, Mrs. Owens was the daughter of the late Noah Lamb and Annie Pearl Bailey. She worked as the office manager for Owens TCG Heating and Cooling in Tifton and was a member of Tift Avenue Missionary Baptist Church. She had lived in Tifton most of her life.
Mrs. Owens is survived by her husband, Mark Owens of Tifton; one son, Timothy Mark Owens of Tifton and his fiancé, Terri Duncan, of Forsyth; one daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie Ann and Slade Rowland of Brunswick; one brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Betty Lamb of Rebecca; one sister, Brenda Hearn of Tifton; and two grandchildren, Annabelle Rowland and Slade Owen Rowland.
