Jennifer Sue Shuler Pate, age 66, passed away on March 19, 2017 at her home in Marrero, LA, with her husband by her side. Born in Bremerton, Washington, she was the daughter of Roy Lee Shuler and Betty Jane Shuler. She had family roots in Coffeeville, MS and was able to move there years ago and work for a period of time. She and her husband later made their home in Marrero, LA and for many years she served as the manager of a Department Store. She became a happy homemaker, and enjoyed her dogs, going to the beach, and was an avid reader. She loved her family and was of the Methodist faith.
Services are planned for Friday, March 24, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place in the Broad Street Cemetery near Coffeeville, MS.
Jennifer is survived by her husband, James Pate of Marrero, LA; a daughter, Amy Smith (Robbie) of Mesquite, TX; a son, Nathan Pate (Teresa) of Kemp, TX; a sister, Starrla Williams of Lake Havasu, AZ; and one brother, Robert Shuler of Columbia, MO.
