Adeline E. Dee, 100

Dateline: Mansfield, MA

Adeline E. (Morris) Dee, age 100, of Mansfield, formerly of Norton, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 20, 2017 at the Maples Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Wrentham. She was the beloved wife of the late James F. Dee.

Born in Boston, MA on November 10, 1916, she was a loving daughter of the late John and Lillian (Durr) Morris.

Adeline grew up and was educated in Boston, and was a graduate of the Boston School of Cosmetology.

Prior to retiring, she had worked as a cosmetologist for Boston salons and had previously been employed as a member of Local 154 Glass Bottle Union Association at the former Owen-Illinois Company in Mansfield.

Adeline had made her home in Mansfield for over forty years and was a longtime volunteer worker at the Mansfield Council for Aging.

She was the dear sister of the late Lillian Larson, Ellen Clements, John Morris, Robert Morris, James Morris and George Morris. She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews including Patricia Bonaguro, Karen Lew Bouchard and Jeanne Hope.

Her funeral service, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Saturday, March 25th at 1:00 P. M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield Burial will follow at the Spring Brook Cemetery in Mansfield.

Visitation will be held prior to the services on Saturday, March 25th beginning at 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
