Obituary

Stephen M.. Clooney 60 of Natick, died unexpectedly Friday, March 17, 2017 at the Metro West Medical Center in Framingham.
He was the beloved husband of Lori A.. (Cashman) Clooney sharing twelve years of marriage. Born in Melrose he was the devoted son of Doris M. (Carbon) Clooney of Medford and the late Stephen W. Clooney.
Mr. Clooney was formerly employed in the Newspaper and Broadcast industries for many years. He was the Circulation Sales Coordinator for the Metro West Daily News and previously was a Master Control Operator of WBPX –TV Boston, Operations Supervisor for New England Cable News of Boston, Broadcast Operations manager for WUNI –TV 27 of Needham/Boston, and Executive Director of the Medford Community Cablevision.
He enjoyed toy collecting, antiquing, attending auctions, and celebrating holidays with family and friends especially at Christmas. Stephen was a Red Sox, Bruins and Patriots fan and had had fun taking Lori and Katherine on surprise day trips throughout New England.
In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by his cherished daughter Katherine G. Clooney of Natick, brothers Thomas P. Clooney and his wife Lynne of Egg Harbor Township, N.J, Robert F. Clooney and his wife Annette of Weare N.H, nieces and nephews: Nicole, Amanda, Jesse, Hunter, Molly, Brendan, Chip, sisters in law Karen J. Przybyl and her husband Greg of Tewksbury, Linda L. Young and her husband Robert, of Natick, and Dawn M. Lalime and her husband Andrew of Natick.
He was also the brother of the late James P. Clooney.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral on Wednesday, March 22nd at 9:00 A.M. from the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, at Natick Common followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St Patrick Church at 10:00 A.M.
Visiting hours are Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M.
