David Normand Desaulniers 61, of Old Clark Rd. died comfortably March 17, 2017 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Normand Omar Desaulniers and Muriel Margarette (Drainville) Marien. David was supported by Seven Hills Foundation. He loved being with people. David enjoyed listening to music, dancing, and singing. He was a fan of fine dining, and especially liked the strawberry shortcake at Chelo’s. He also enjoyed bowling and watching movies. David was an active participant in the RI Special Olympics for many years.
He is survived by his brother Marc Joseph Desaulniers of St. Louis, MO.
His funeral will be held Monday at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket beginning with visitation at 10:00 AM and a Catholic Prayer Service in the funeral home at 11:00 AM. Burial in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery is private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the John E Moran Foundation, PO Box 1163, Slatersville, RI 02876, in his memory would be appreciated.
