SHEA, Mary Frances Passed away peacefully after a long ilnness on March 14, 2017. A former resident of Cambridge, Arlington and Needham, she was met at Heaven's Gate by her beloved parents, Jeremiah and Sarah (Healey) Shea. She is survived by her sisters, Margaret (Shea) and William McCarron of Hyannis and Kathryn (Shea) and Edward Henneberry of Chevy Chase, MD. Loving aunt of William and Suzanne McCarron, Kathryn McCarron, Edward and Carla Henneberry, Brian and Alicia Henneberry, and Kevin and Heather Henneberry. Mary Frances was also the grand-aunt of 11 children: Chloe, Chelsea, Timothy, Brendan, Caroline, Colin, Brian, Patrick, Shea, Brooklyn and Ryleigh.
The family gives special thanks to the Sisters of St. Joseph and to the administration, nurses, nurse aides and other health care professionals for the exceptional and compassionate care provided to Mary Frances at her "home" at Bethany Healthcare Center.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave., NEEDHAM, Tuesday morning prior to the Mass from 8:30-9:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will follow at St. Joseph's Church, Needham, at 10 a.m. Burial will take place at Cambridge Cemetery. In lieu flowers, a donation in Mary Frances' name may be made to Bethany Healthcare Center, 97 Bethany Rd., Framingham, MA 01702.
