New Bedford - Jonas Trinidad, Jr., age 20, died, unexpectedly, on Wednesday March 15, 2017. Jonas was the son of Jonas Trinidad and Sandra Torres.
He was a lifelong resident of this area and worked as a Laborer in the cranberry bogs.
Jonas was survived by his parents: Jonas Trinidad and Sandra Torres; maternal grandparents, Rafael Torres and Sor Rosario; paternal grandmother, Maria Rivera; 8 siblings: Manuel Torres, Yanitza Torres, Aleze Orozco, Elijan Trinidad, Dymaneze Trinidad, Matthew Pinheiro, Jonathon Pinheiro all of New Bedford and Karina Trinidad of Connecticut. He was also survived by 2 nephews, several cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
Visiting hours will be Thursday March 23rd from 4-8 P.M. His funeral will take place in the funeral home on Friday with family and friends gathering, to take place from 10 – 11 A.M. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the family would be greatly appreciated.
