Anne Lebby Rankin, 68, of Tifton passed away peacefully at her residence Thursday, March 16, 2017. A memorial service will be held for Ms. Rankin at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 25, 2017, at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church in Tifton with the Rev. Ellen Richardson officiating. Ms. Rankin will be laid to rest at a later date. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 25, 2017, immediately following the service in the Parish Hall at St Anne’s Episcopal Church in Tifton.
Born August 4, 1948, Anne was the daughter of the late Homer M. Rankin and Lutrelle Tift “Weetie” Rankin.
Anne is survived by three children, Marti W. Watt of Seattle, Washington, Emily Hoffman and husband, Clay of Brunswick and Cameron Duncan of Albany; seven siblings and their spouses, Princess Rankin, Roy and Debra Rankin, Lyn R. Pate, Tom and Susan Rankin, Shine and Debbie Rankin, all of Tifton, Meade and Crystal Rankin of West Palm Beach, Florida and John and Karen Rankin of Seale, Alabama; four granddaughters, Madison Watt, Claire Hoffman, Callie Hoffman and her beloved Selah Hoffman; and many nieces and nephews.
