CHARLES EARL “JOHN” SALTSMAN, 88, passed away on March 17, 2017.
He was a retired employee of Henry Bickel Transfer, a member of the VFW Mill Creek Post 5421, and an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Preceding him in death were his sons, Dewayne and Charles Jr., grandchildren, Eric and Kelsy, his parents, Claude and Oleva Saltsman, and siblings, Lucille, Warren, Mary, Rex, Hova, Lois and Thomas.
Survivors include his daughter, Charlene Duke; granddaughters, Savannah and Melissa; great grandson, Eric; brothers, Marcus and Arnold Saltsman (Bonnie); sister, Peggy Stratton and his caregiver, Debbie Altes .
Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY.
Visitation will be from 2 – 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
