Obituary

Colleen M. (O'Hearn) Bowman, a 3 year resident of Londonderry, New Hampshire and former 26 year resident of Everett and longtime resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at the Cambridge Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Cambridge following a lengthy illness. She was 63 years old.

Colleen was born in Boston on July 31, 1953, a daughter of the late Peter J. O'Hearn and Flora C. (O'Brien) O'Hearn. She grew up in Charlestown where she was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from Charlestown High School in 1971. Colleen worked as a bookkeeper for over 15 years with Xenon Corporation. She enjoyed playing cards, listening to Elvis Presley music and was an avid Patriots fan. Colleen was very passionate about her family, especially her husband and 3 sons but she had great love for her grandchildren and their individual accomplishments.

Colleen is the beloved wife of 44 years to Edward L. Bowman. She is the devoted mother of Keith Bowman and his fiancé Amy Silva of Billerica, Stephen Bowman and his wife Jamie of Winchester and David Bowman and his wife Melissa of Salem, New Hampshire. She is the loving Nana to Jordan, Dylan-Rose and Lucy Colleen. She is the beloved sister of Kathleen Correnti and her husband Joe, Kevin O'Hearn and his wife Doris, Janine O'Brien, Patrick O'Hearn and his wife Janice, Silvia "Tooka" Lauziere, Everett Firefighter Andrew O'Hearn and his wife Mary and the late Peter O'Hearn and Dennis O'Hearn. She is the beloved sister-in-law of the late Frank "Bo" Bowman and Mary Bowman. She is also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Colleen's Funeral on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 9 A.M. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, 55 Warren St. Charlestown at 10 A.M. Her entombment will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Her visiting hours will be on Monday, March 20, 2017 from 4 to 8 P.M. in the funeral home.
