Stella M. Lemieux passed away on March 4, 2017, in Delray Beach, Florida. Stella was a long-time resident in Methuen, MA and took great pride in her ability to live independently in her home. She surprised everyone when she decided to become a “snow bird” this winter in Florida. She was able to spend time with her Florida family, see the ocean and enjoy sunny balmy days. Stella enjoyed family gatherings and social events, and playing 45’s at the Methuen Senior Center. She also enjoyed music and dancing.
Stella was predeceased by her beloved husband, Raymond, who she thought of every day. She will be sadly missed by daughter, Donna M. Moreau and her husband, Roger E. Richardson, Hampstead, NH, grand daughters and husbands, Melissa and Andrew Dietz of Boynton Beach, FL, and Kristen and Christopher Jones, of E. Hampstead, NH, and her great grandsons, Aiden and Alexander Jones who were the “light of her life”, her sister, Evelyn Lahey, San Antonio, TX, several nieces and nephews and friends.
Friends and family are invited to call on Monday, March 27, 2017, between the hours of 9:00 until 11:00 at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. A funeral service will be held immediately following calling hours at Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home beginning promptly at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery of Andover. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Stella’s memory to St. Theresa’s Church, 22 Plymouth Street, Methuen, MA 01844 or the Methuen Senior Center, 77 Lowell Street, Methuen, MA 01844.
