Artemio Perez, Jr., age 61, of Roxbury, on March 14, 2017. Artemio was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 25th 1955. He is the son of the late Artemio Perez Sr. and the late Ermelinda Perez. He leaves behind his daughter, Melinda Perez, of Salem, Ma.; a granddaughter, Genesis Greene of Salem Ma, 3 sisters, Roselia Martinez of Brockton Ma, Carmen Bala of Brockton Ma. and Elba Perez of Dominican Republic; he also leaves behind his niece Tatiana Morales, Nephews Jorge, Alfredo and Antonio Martinez, Cesar, Eric and Marcus Bala, Giancarlos and Daniel Morales. He is also survived by many great-nieces and nephews. Artemio was a free spirit who danced to the beat of his own drums, he loved music and enjoyed singing and dancing. He was loved by all and will be deeply missed. Visiting hours will be held at the Brady & Fallon Funeral Home 10 Tower St. (Opp. Forest Hills MBTA Station) Jamaica Plain on Wednesday March 22 from 6-9 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Cathedral of The Holy Cross 1400 Washington St. Boston's South End on Thursday March 23 at 10 AM. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery, Roslindale.
