Mary F. Bromwell (Carey) age 76 of Norwood passed away March 14th at the Maples Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Wrentham. Born in Mansfield, she was raised in Hyde Park and graduated from Hyde Park High School and has lived in Norwood for the last 46 years. She previously worked for Polaroid Corp. in Quality Control and most recently as a Home Health Aide for the VNA Hospice before retiring. After her retirement, Mary enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Beloved mother of Stephen Colby of Marshfield, Judy Fournerat of OK, Cindy Bootier of Millis, Leah Hannafin of Dracut Paula Aquilino of Bellingham, Kathleen Noble of N.H. and the late Daniel Colby. Sister of Barbara McClintock and Betty Rutledge both of CA, Ray Carey of Marshfield, Linda Hotz of OH and Tom Carey of Rockland. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral service at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Saturday afternoon at 3. Visiting hours prior to the service Saturday afternoon from 2 to 3 pm. Burial private.
