Noreen A. Normand passed away on March 13, 2017, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was 79 years old.
Noreen was a longtime resident of Malden and Texas. She retired from Raytheon Company where she worked for many years. Noreen was a Rectora in the Woman’s Cursillo #364 at the Saint Basil Salvation Center in Methuen. She was a knitting instructor at the Malden Senior Center and a member of the Graham Cracker Candlepin Bowling League.
Noreen was the beloved mother of Terina Aguirre and her husband Gabriel, Donella Reinl and her husband Matthew, George Miller, Patrick Miller, Philisa Yacovino, Lorena Ford, Thomas Miller and his wife Shannon, and Tavena Boucher and her husband Michael. She was the dear sister of Joyce Normand and loving aunt of Donna Williams. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street, Malden on Saturday March 18th at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Immaculate Conception Church 600 Pleasant Street, Malden at 11:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday, March 17th from 3-7 p.m.
Interment will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial park, Peabody.
