Rachel Louise Truluck O’Neal, 74, of Tifton passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 18, 2017, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Joseph L. Crumley officiating. Michael Bridges will give a eulogy. Mrs. O’Neal will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, March 17, 2017, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Born July 12, 1942 in Cordele (Crisp County), Mrs. O’Neal was the daughter of the late Ernest Truluck, Sr. and Lucy Beverly Sanders Truluck Watson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Gerald O’Neal; two brothers, John David Truluck and Ernest Truluck, Jr.; and a granddaughter, Jessica Renea O’Neal. She was retired from Fred’s Department Store.
Mrs. O’Neal is survived by one son, John Glenn O’Neal of Lakeland, Florida; two daughters and sons-in-law, Carol Ann O’Neal Bridges and husband, Michael Bridges of Orlando, Florida and Linda Faye O’Neal Gordon and husband, Charles Marvin Gordon of Tifton; five brothers, Billy Truluck of Sycamore, Freddie Truluck of Bradenton, Florida, Jim Truluck of Fayetteville, Eddie Truluck of Albany and Peter Marshall Truluck of Sylvester; three grandchildren, Adam Bridges, Tiffani Michalenko and Melissa Ann Gordon; and two great-grandchildren, Cooper Michalenko and Harlow Michalenko.
