Linda (Sczesny) Elliott, 74 years old, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Community Hospital Anderson after an extended illness.
She was born on May 4, 1942 in Anderson. She graduated from Madison Heights High School in 1960 and continued to be a lifelong resident of Anderson.
She was a loving wife, homemaker, mother and grandmother. As a young lady, she loved to dance and listen to rock-n-roll music. Later in life, she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Lyndell "Butch" Elliott, son, Todd (Teresa) Elliott; grandson, Tristen Elliott, brother, Mike (Cookie) McKinney.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William "Bill" Sczesny and Mary (Ritchie) Dickson.
The family wished to extend their gratitude to Community Hospital, Anderson, nurses and technicians on 5 East and Community Inpatient Hospice staff for all of their support and the excellent care they provided to our family and to Linda during her final days.
Service will be held at 2:30 P.M. on Wednesday, March 15, at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor P.T. Morgan officiating.
Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 12:30 until the service at 2:30 p.m.
