Age 88 of St. Paul's Monastery.
Died at St. Paul’s Monastery on March 10 2017 having lived and ministered as a Benedictine Sister for 66 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Birdie; sisters Kate and Mary; brothers Joseph and James. Sister Pat taught at Visitation School in Minneapolis and Assumption in Richfield. She was among the first teachers when Archbishop Murray Memorial High School opened in 1958 and continued there as teacher and counselor at the merged Hill Murray School. Sister Pat served the monastic community in formation ministry and administration. Upon retiring, she was the Monastery archivist and chronicler. Sister Pat is survived by nieces and nephews and by the Sisters, Oblates and Benedictine Associates of St. Paul’s Monastery.
Mass of Christian Burial is at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 17, 2017 at St. Paul’s Monastery, 2675 Benet Road, Maplewood. Visitation on Thursday, March 16 at 4:00pm with Vigil at 7:00pm at the Monastery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Paul’s Monastery.
