FALL RIVER – William Mello, age 82, passed away on March 10, 2017 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Gloria (Desrochers) Mello. Born in Westport, he was the son of the late Joseph and Clara (Claudina) Mello. Prior to retirement he worked at High Point Paper Box for many years.
Along with his wife he is survived by his son William Mello, Jr. (wife Brenda) of Fall River and step-children Debra Haines and Gary Adams of Westport. He also leaves behind 2 grandchildren, Colin and Cody Haines and 3 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by 10 siblings.
Following cremation visitation will take place in the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Sunday from 2-4 P.M. with a service to immediately follow. www.rogersfuneral.com.
