Obituary

William P. Sheehan – 67, of Billerica, formerly of Wilmington, died at the Bedford VA Hospital, surrounded by his family on Sunday February 19, 2017 after a long battle with COPD (Chronis Obstructive Pulmonary Disease). He was born on august 12, 1949 in Woburn, MA. He was the loving son of the late William P. Sheehan and Laura F. (Ceasar) Sheehan. He grew up in Wilmington graduating in the class of 1967.

Bill was proud of his U.S Air force service serving as SSGT as mechanic on jet planes. He was a talented finish carpenter and self-employed contractor. He was a perfectionist and enjoyed working with his hands and on projects before he retired on disability in 2005. He played baseball and football when he was young. Bill enjoyed watching sports and actively followed all Boston Teams. He enjoyed going on BMX bike tours with his sons.

He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Bray of NH, and Brenda Victor and her husband David of Sayre, PA; his sons Will Sheehan Jr. and his partner Amanda Walsh of Ashby, MA, Brett Sheehan of Chelmsford, MA, and his late son Brendan Sheehan of Billerica; 4 grandchildren, John and Victoria Bray of NH, Kaitlyn and Emily Victor of PA, nephew Erik Caesar and his wife Carla and their 9 children of IN; his sister Mary Ceasar and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
