Obituary

Worcester – Edward J. Vickers, 95, of Worcester, died on Wednesday, March 8th in the Saint Francis Rehabilitation Center and Nursing Home after an illness.

Mr. Vickers was married to the late, Annie (Morris) Vickers for 69 years who died in 2015. He is predeceased by his daughter, Deborah A. Vickers who died in 2016.
He was born in Worcester and worked for many years with the City of Worcester in the Street Department. Ed is a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Army.
The funeral will be held from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home on Monday, March 13, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in Saint John’s Church 44 Temple St. Burial with military honors will be held in Saint John’s Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather at 9AM at the funeral home for a viewing before the funeral mass.
