Elizabeth Heard (77) of Brockton died March 9th in the Good Samaritan Medical Center.
She was born in Columbia, South Carolina daughter of the late Katie Hampton. Elizabeth was a devoted member of the New Jerusalem Tabernacle Church in Bridgewater. She loved to cook and go fishing. She also enjoyed spending time with her grand and great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Survivors include 3 sons, Alonso Heard of Brockton, Charles Hampton and wife Yuolanda of Wareham, Wanza Hampton of Georgia, a daughter Betty Heard of Brockton, 1 sister Sally Wakefield of South Carolina, 3 brothers, Robert Hampton of Brockton, Eddie Hampton of South Carolina and Joel T. Hampton of New York, many grand and great grandchildren.
Funeral Services in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Friday, March 17th at 10 am. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery. Visitation Thursday March 16th from 5-8 pm.
