FALL RIVER – Mary Barboza, age 101, passed away on March 7, 2017 at Crawford Health and Rehabilitative Center. She was the beloved wife of the late John C. Barboza. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Francelino and Maria (Moniz) Bothelho. Mary was a parishioner of St. John of God and was a member of the Holy Rosary Society.
Mary is survived by her children Donald Barboza (wife Cecile) of Englewood, FL. and Rosemary Simons of N. Dartmouth; siblings, Lydia Raposa and Elizabeth Botelho; 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Judith Harris and her siblings Louis, Albert, Jospeh and Manuel Botelho, Agnes Oliveira and Evelyn Rego.
Her funeral service will take place in the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, INC. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Friday at 12 P.M. Interment St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Somerset. Visitation Friday morning 11 A.M.-12 P.M. www.rogersfuneral.com.
