Geraldine A. (Buckley) Coughlin passed away peacefully on March 5, 2017, at the Arbors Assisted Living in Stoneham. She was 78 years old.
Geraldine was born and raised and a longtime resident of Somerville, MA. Prior to her retirement, she was a bank manager for Central Bank.
Geraldine was the wife of the late Edward Coughlin. She was the loving companion of Charles Pini. Geraldine was the beloved mother of Carolyn Brooks of Long Beach, CA, Christine Allen and her husband Robert of Winchester, John Murray and his wife Julie of Stoneham and James Murray and his wife Jacinta of Norwood. She was the dear sister of Mary Margarita of Somerville and the late William Buckley. Geraldine was the cherished grandmother of Ian, Anna, Ben, Jack, Abby, Emma, Kiera and Liam. She is also survived by her loving niece Joellen Margarita of Medford.
The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street, Malden on Tuesday March 14th at 8:45am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Ann Church, 399 Medford Street, Somerville at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday March 13th from 6-8pm. Interment will be in Mount Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.
