Obituary

Candida Frazier, age 69, of Plymouth, died peacefully, March 1, 2017 at St. Joseph Manor. Born in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Bernard W. and Irene (Farrell) Frazier. As the oldest of nine children, she became a significant part of raising her siblings. She was a graduate of Marquette University, earning a BA in English.

She served in the US Army from 1973-1979, first as a Linguist and then as a Chaplin’s Assistant. Over the years, Candi made her home in Redding, CT, Cambridge and for the past twenty five years Plymouth. She worked in the hospitality and communications industries for over 20 years. Candi was a devout Catholic and was active in her parish while living in Plymouth.

Candi was the sister of BJ Frazier of Savannah, GA, Faith Frazier Dean of West Bridgewater, Felicity Turner of Southold NY, Luke Frazier of Cleveland OH, Patience Frazier of Wareham and the late Hope, Connie, and Mark Frazier. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Dorchester on Monday. Please consider donations in Candi’s name to Old Colony Hospice, 321 Manley Street, West Bridgewater, MA 02379.
