Obituary

Christo Pulos passed away on February 28, 2017 at the age of 85.
He was born in Pocatello Idaho to Greek immigrant parents who instilled in him a love of his Greek heritage and pride in being an American.
Christo married Micki George in 1951 near the beginning of his Air Force career. Chris and Micki loved the travel and adventure they shared as an Air Force family. Chris retired as a Lt. Colonel in 1973. His 24-year service record included development of the F-15 avionics system. He began a second career at Hughes Aircraft as an Engineering Project Manager working on many programs including the AIM-120 AMRAAM. Following a second retirement in 1989, Chris and Micki devoted themselves, their time, and their love to the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Camarillo. Chris cherished his many wonderful friendships there.
Chris is survived by his sons Dan (Mary), Dean (Danieal) and Chris, 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many close family friends. Chris was preceded in death by Micki, his loving wife of 64 years, and by his 7 brothers and sisters.
Family and friends are invited to visiting hours from 5 to 7pm in St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 5575 Santa Rosa Road, Camarillo on Thursday March 9, 2017, where a Church Service will follow the visiting hours at 7pm. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 11am Friday March 10, 2017 in St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 5575 Santa Rosa Road Camarillo followed immediately by interment with Military Honors in Conejo Mountain Memorial Park, Howard Road Camarillo. Arrangements are under the direction of the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME, 757 E. Main Street Ventura.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Christo’s memory to the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Building Fund. www.saintdem.org
