Isabel A. Vargas, 83, of Millis, died peacefully on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at the Medway Country Manor.
Born in Boston on October 22, 1933, she was the daughter of the late D. George and Frances (Straub) Vargas.
Miss Vargas was a resident of Millis for over 30 years and formerly resided in Brighton.
Before her retirement, she worked at Boston Edison for 40 years.
She is survived by her sister Lee Pedalino of Bellingham and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, March 8 from 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 12:30 p.m. in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com).
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to a charity of one’s choice.
