Obituary

Leonard T. Marshall, age 87, of Taunton, passed away on February 22, 2017 at Longmeadow of Taunton.

He was the beloved husband of Frances (Terra) Marshall.

Leonard was born in Easton, MA, a son of the late George and Ada (McCarty) Marshall.

Mr. Marshall served his country with the Army during the Korean Conflict. He was also a graduate of Taunton Vocational High School

Before retirement, Mr. Marshall was employed with Southern MA Oil, and later with W.H. Riley for over 30 years . He was a member of the Teamsters Union Local # 653. Leonard enjoyed spending time in his yard and with family and friends. One of his favorite pastimes was tinkering with cars and anything mechanical.

His family would like to thank Morton Hospital and the staff of Longmeadow of Taunton for their care and support.

Besides his loving wife Frances of over 62 years, he is survived by his children, Patricia Marshall, Penny Marshall-Dermody and Paula Wilbur and husband Robert all of Taunton. Grandfather of Adam, Crystal, Mark and Luke, great grandfather of Henry. He was also the brother of the late George Marshall, Ruth Marshall, Eleanor Fonseca, Dorothy Lynch and Alice Brownell.

A private graveside service was held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
Arrangements were with the Silva Funeral Home of Taunton.
