Mercer, Margaret (Nottingham), 79, passed away February 20, 2017 in Louisville.
She was born to Cal and Kattie (West) Nottingham on February 27, 1937.
Margaret worked 27 years for Brown-Williamson Co., and many years as a Daycare Teacher, retiring in 2015.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Stanna “ED” Mercer; a brother, William Nottingham; and 4 sisters, Aline Carmen, Tootsie Henderson, Velma McCamish, and Irene Brown; and her beloved companion, Taz.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Dennis and Doug (Rosanne) Mercer; four grandchildren, Kathryn Anne Clark(Greg), Hayley Mercer (Ryan Malakas), Savannah Mercer, Cheyanne Mercer; two great-grandchildren, Wesley and Graycee Clark; and a sister, Diane.
Funeral services are Thursday at 11:00 AM at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway; burial is in Beth Haven Cemetery.
Visitation is Wednesday 2:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
