Therese M. Girard 91, of Mendon Rd. died February 18, 2017 at The Ballou Home. She was the wife of the late Philippe Girard. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Josephat and Eva (Auger) Morel. Mrs. Girard worked at CVS Warehouse for many years retiring thirty three years ago. She loved to travel and enjoyed cooking for her family. Therese greatest joy was spending time with her family.
She is survived by two daughters Diane Richer and her husband Roland and Rachel Hoard and her husband Donald all of Woonsocket; a brother Roland Morel of Underhill, VT; a sister Annette Chenette of Derby Line, VT; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday, February 28, 2017, at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in All Saints Church, Rathbun St. Woonsocket. Burial will be held in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting hours are Monday 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers donations to All Saints Feed My Sheep Kitchen, 323 Rathbun St. Woonsocket, RI in her memory would be appreciated.
