Suzanne M. Bouchard, 71, of Tower Hill Rd. North Kingstown died Wednesday February 15, 2017 at Rhode Island Hospital.
Born in North Smithfield she was a daughter of the late Armand A. and Obeline M. (Soucy) Gariepy. She was raised in Manville and through the years resided in Blackstone, Warwick and the South County area.
In her earlier years she worked at Dean College in Franklin, MA and Oakland Grove Health Care Center in Woonsocket. She was employed at Scallabrini Villa for many years before her retirement.
Sue had a special talent for decorating her home. She also had a very special place in her heart for her pets especially her cat “Baby” and the many fish in the bowl. How they ever coexisted no one will ever know – it must have been due to Sue’s special magic!
Sue is survived by her sons Wayne C. Bouchard and his wife, Carol, of Blackstone and Steven Bouchard. She was the sister of Lorraine S. Branconnier of Charlestown, RI and the late Armand R. Gariepy Jr., and Blanche D. Chichester. She is also survived by her grandchildren Kyle L. Bouchard and his wife, Erin, and Kayla A. Bouchard, her great- granddaughter Olivia and many nieces and nephews and their families.
Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 4-7 pm in the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave. Woonsocket. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Animal Rescue of Rhode Island P.O. Box 458 Wakefield, RI. 02880 or www.animalrescueri.org.
