Obituary

Joseph DiBiasio, III, age 57 of Brockton, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family, February 13, 2017, after a long and courageous 6 year battle with cancer. Joe was the loving husband for 33 years of Deborah J. (Noone) DiBiasio. He was the son of the late Joseph and Theresa M. (Vincini) DiBiasio, Jr., and the son-in-law of Edward and Jean Noone, of Brockton. Joe is also survived by his children Kristen M. Bowen and her husband Andrew, Allison J. Fong and her husband Pierre and Joseph DiBiasio, IV all of Brockton; six grandchildren Ava J., Aleena M., Aryella T., and Anya M. Fong, Cassidy J. and Andrew K. Bowen, Jr. He is also survived by many cousins, in-laws, nieces, nephews, friends; along with his sisters Paula Mauss and Maria Pike and brother Eugene DiBiasio.

Raised in Brockton, he was a 1977 graduate of Brockton High School and attended Massasoit Community College. Always a car fanatic, Joe was involved in the automotive industry for over 40 years. At the time of his death, Joe was the Principal Owner of Auto Drive 1 Dealership in West Bridgewater. He was a member of the Sports Car Club of America; enjoyed building model cars, collecting antique cars and attending car races at the Lime Rock Race Track with his father. In his youth he played for Brockton Youth Hockey teams and continued to play for many years as an adult. Joe was a great motivator, always giving to those in need and was a man who never held a grudge.

The family would also like to give special thanks to Brockton Hospital Radiation Department and Norfolk Center of Cancer Care and Hematology of Brockton for all of their love and support throughout the years.

Visiting Hours will be held at the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Wednesday February 22, 2017 from 3-6pm followed by a funeral service at 6pm. A celebration brunch will be held on Thursday February 23, 2017 from 11-2 pm at Thorney Lea Golf Club, 159 Torrey Street Brockton.
