In Taunton, Mary D. (Rodrigues) Michaud, February 16, 2017, age 83, passed away in Marian Manor Nursing Home with her loving daughter and granddaughter by her side following a lengthy illness. Mary was the wife of the late Bernard J. Michaud of Taunton. She was born in Jamaica Plains, Queens, NY, the daughter of the late Manuel & Emma (White) Rodrigues. Mary loved being around her family and friends. She loved traditions, and always had a helping hand for others. She also was an avid reader and will be greatly missed. Mary is survived by her daughter, Linda Nason of Rehoboth. She was preceded in death by her sister Louise Raposo. Mary also leaves her three grandchildren, Tami Killam, Kenneth Nason and Kimberly Tracy. She also leaves her seven loving great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Tuesday, February 21st at 9 am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Andrew the Apostle Church in Taunton at 10 am. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Monday from 4-7 pm. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Taunton. Donations in Mary’s memory may be made to St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 19 Kilmer Ave., Taunton, MA 02780.
