Marie Kakos, 90, went to be with our Lord and Savior on February 12, 2017. Marie was a 35 year resident of Ventura, CA but for the past 3 years resided in Paso Robles, CA.
Marie was born in Long Island, New York on May 30, 1926. She is survived by her children Michelle Carroll, Bonnie Kakos, and Ed Kakos of Paso Robles, CA. Marie is also survived by 5 grandchildren Michelle, Jarred, Edward II, Shae, and Kelsey; and 5 great grandchildren. Marie is proceeded in death by her husband of 52 years Edward Kakos and her daughter Sandra. Marie proudly served her country in the United States Women's Army Corps.
Viewing and prayer services will be held Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 4pm at Joseph P. Reardon Funeral home on 757 E. Main St in Ventura, CA. Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church on 3175 Telegraph Rd. in Ventura CA on Thursday February 16, 2017 at 10am with interment immediately following at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park at 5400 Valentines Rd. Ventura.
