FALL RIVER – Robin D. (Church) Medeiros, age 59 of Fall River, gained her eternal rest on Monday, Feb. 13, 2017 at Charlton Memorial Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Joseph A. Medeiros and the daughter of the late Angela V. (Souza) Church.
Robin was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Church for many years and a member of their Woman’s Guild, helping any chance she could from Malasadas on Sundays, to the Soup Kitchen when she was well enough. She was also a volunteer at Holy Trinity School for over 17 years in the lunch room and “Extended Care”. She enjoyed taking care of children in extended care and during lunches, sunbathing, spending time with her family, and singing along to “Journey”. She especially adored her grandpup, Leroy.
She was a fighter for many years, serving as a beacon of hope & strength to those around her. A hero to all, she will continue to guide us from above.
In addition to her beloved husband of 39 yrs., she leaves her beloved son, Brent J. Medeiros and his fiancé Justin Bulhoes of Fall River; her brother, Robert Church, and his wife Deborah of Portsmouth, RI; several nieces & nephews. She was the sister of the late Gary & Donna Church.
The family would also like to thank the nurses and techs of the Dialysis Center of Tiverton, the care team at CV-SD and CV-ICU at Charlton Memorial Hospital for their excellent care and empathy.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Friday at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Trinity Church, Stafford Rd. at 10:00 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery.
