Proud 'Double Eagle' Graduate of BC High School and Boston College. Beloved Alumnus of Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois. Retired from Tozzer Library at Harvard University. Cherished by dozens of cousins, nieces and nephews - Gene was loved by all.
Gene, always a fine gentleman, exemplified the qualities of a man that had no greater love than that for his family and friends. The list of charities he participated in is truly impressive. His generosity knew no bounds. His quick wit, great sports knowledge and political savvy were unmatched.
According to Gene's wishes his funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD on Thursday, February 16th at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis de Sales Church, 303 Bunker Hill Street, Charlestown at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made in Gene's honor to the charity of your choice.
