Mr. Stephen J. Trachym , a resident of Andover and beloved father of Sarah L. and John D. Trachym, passed away, suddenly, in Georgia on Sunday, February 4, 2017. He was 67 years old.
Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, on June 28, 1949, he was the beloved son of the late Peter S. and Marguerite (DeRoche) Trachym. Mr. Trachym was employed by Doyle Lumber for nearly 30 years. In his spare time, Stephen enjoyed watching the Patriots and all New England sports teams. He was a member of the Andover K of C and loved to play golf. He will be dearly missed.
Besides his beloved children; John and Sarah, he is survived by his sister; Cindy T. and her husband Peter J. Cameron of Bonita Springs, Florida, niece; Andrea T. Zimon of Massachusetts and aunt; Dorothy DeRoche of Lawrence.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Augustine Church, 43 Essex Street, Andover on Tuesday, February 14, 2017, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Calling hours will be held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover on Monday, February 13, 2017, from 4 to 8 PM. Interment will be privately held.
