Andover – Roberta L. (Norton) Yankowsky, 70 of Andover, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Academy Manor Nursing Home in Andover.
Born in Methuen on September 27, 1946, Roberta was the daughter of Robert L. and Helen M. (Ferris) Norton. She attended Methuen schools and graduated from Tenney High School. She worked as a hairdresser her whole life, including at J.C. Penny in Salem, NH for 15 years until her retirement.
Roberta will be deeply missed by her 2 children, Paul and Valerie Yankowsky both of Haverhill; her grandson, Jameson Santos; and 2 granddaughters, Karina and Juliana Yankowsky. She is predeceased by her son, Robert Yankowsky.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Roberta’s life by gathering for calling hours at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 from 9-10:30 AM. Her Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Monica’s Church in Methuen on Wednesday at 11 AM. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
