Obituary

Margaret V. (King) Baggs, of Milford and former longtime resident of Natick, passed away peacefully at the age of 79, surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, February 5th, 2017. She was the loving wife of Henry Joseph Baggs with whom she shared 60 wonderful years.

After marrying Henry, they lived in Somerville before moving to Natick in 1971. She was a longtime employee of Sears and Roebuck. Margaret was a member of Post 79 Natick Ladies Auxilary. Most members knew her as “Ma Baggs”. She proudly held the offices of both Local and State Departments Auxiliary President.

In addition to her husband Henry, she is survived by three of her five children: Donna Stockbridge and her husband Wallace of Natick, Scott Baggs and his wife Judy of Natick, and Henry Baggs and his wife Tina of St. Augustine, FL. She was the loving “Nana” to 9 grand-children, 7 great grand-children. She is also survived by her sister Carole Bowen, sister-in-law Eleanor Campanale, sister-in-law Joanne Hannaford, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Margaret was predeceased by her two children William J. Baggs, Margaret E. Laing and her mother Margaret E. (Chapman) King.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service for Margaret in the Chapel of the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, at Natick Common on Sunday, February 12 at 6:00 PM.

Visiting hours will begin at 3:00 P.M. prior to the service.
