Armando Federico of Medford died on Sunday, February 5, at the Winchester Hospital. Born and raised in Sulmona, Italy, he was the son of the late Vincenzo and Maria (DeSantis) Federico. Armando came to the U.S. in 1956, settling first in Boston’s North End before moving to Medford in 1964.
Armando was the beloved husband of Valentina (Centofanti), and the devoted father of Vincent Federico and his wife Michelle of Windham, NH, Richard Federico and his wife Kathleen of Reading. He was the loving grandfather of Stacey, Carly, Joseph, and Kelsey Federico, and the brother of Rina Federico and her late husband Angelo, the late John Federico and his surviving wife Gemma, all of Italy. Armando is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Saturday, February 11 at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with entombment at Holy Cross Mausoleum, Malden. Visiting hours Wednesday, February 8, from 4 through 8 PM.
