Daniel G. Albert, of Woburn passed away peacefully, February 2, 2017, at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington, following a short illness. He was 53 years of age. Daniel was the beloved husband of Caroline (Johnson) Albert, together they shared nearly twenty years of marriage. Born in Madawaska, Maine he was the son of Clarence and Jeanette (Clavet) Albert.
Daniel worked for many years as a self employed contractor in the construction industry. He enjoyed time spent with his family and especially enjoyed his grandchildren. Some what of a homebody, Daniel enjoyed following NASCAR and watching the races on television. However, Daniel was passionate about snowmobiling and was always looking forward to his next time out on the trails. He snowmobiled all over New Hampshire wherever the snow was plentiful and the trails were open.
In addition to his beloved wife Caroline, Daniel is survived by his children, Elizabeth Wight and her husband Jared of Mason, NH, Billy Noseworthy and his fiancé Kristen of Atkinson, NH, and Kayla Albert of Woburn. He was the loving grandfather of Noah and Levi Wight. Brother of Lisa Miller and her husband Rick of Salem, NH, Diane Galvin of Haverhill, Nicole Labranche and her husband Brian of Methuen, Mona Labranche of North Carolina, and David Albert of Florida.
A funeral service will be conducted in the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., WOBURN, Wednesday, February 8th, at 3:30 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family prior to the service starting at 12 p.m. Interment services will be private. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Daniel's memory to the James L. McKeown Boys & Girls Club of Woburn, A. Charles Gardner Lane, Woburn, MA 01801.
