Mary Louise (Hodson) McBride, 85, of Anderson died February 1, 2017 at Providence Nursing Home after an extended illness.
Mary was born July 31, 1931 in Anderson to William T. and Zaida Martha (Morris) Hodson.
She was an LPN over 40 years. She was a member of Madison County Nursing Association. She visited various churches with friends. She enjoyed spending time with family and taking her granddaughters to get hair and nails done.
She is survived by her daughter, Cindy (Dennis) Cunningham of Graham, KY, son, Bill (Lisa) McBride of Alexandria, three granddaughters, Allie (Jason) Walker , Jessica Cunningham and Bailey (Mitchel) Durr , three great grandchildren, Alex, Jaden and Chandler.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Anne Duckworth, two brothers, Robert Hodson and William Hodson.
Service will be 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 4 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Micheal D. Thompson officiating. A private burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be Saturday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the funeral home with a Nursing Honor Guard memorial.
Memorial contributions may be given to Madison County Humane Society.
