Lisa C. (Runnels) Morris, a 5 year resident of Haverhill and formerly of Revere and San Diego, California, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston following a courageous battle with cancer. She was 62 years old.
Lisa was born in Everett on May 27, 1954, a daughter of the late Rex Runnels and Dorothy (Hanf) Runnels. She grew up in Revere where she was educated in the Revere Public School system and graduated from North East Regional Vocational High School in Wakefield in 1974. She furthered her education and received her Associates Degree from Bunker Hill Community College in Hotel Management. Lisa worked as a Senior Administrator in the Unemployment Division for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for several years. Lisa's passion in life was her family and the special moments she shared with each one of them.
Lisa is the beloved wife of 20 years to Donald P. Morris. She is the devoted mother of Cherri Runnels of Haverhill. She is the loving Grandma to Marcus Bunch and Isaiah Davis. She is the loving twin sister of Leigh Runnels of Revere and beloved sister of Dennis Runnels of Sandwich. She is also lovingly survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Lisa's visiting hours on Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 11 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. with her Funeral Service at 12:30 P.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. Her burial is private.
