Obituary

Corrina F. (Lawler) Chambers, 98, of Anderson died January 31, 2017 at Bethany Pointe Health Campus after an extended illness.

Corrina was born July 7, 1918 in Richland Township to Jesse and Mary (Fosnot) Lawler, graduated from Anderson High School class of 1936 and graduated from business school.

She was employed at Anderson Daily Bulletin and Anderson Community Schools in food service at Tenth Street School retiring in 1980.
Corrina was a member of Bethany Christian Church and the Redbud Quilters Guild. She enjoyed sewing, especially quilted vests and jackets. Her homemade chicken and noodles were the highlight of family Christmas dinners.
She is survived by her daughters, Deena Chambers of Anderson and Darlene Chambers (Frank Wojtusiak) of Pendleton and her sister-in-law, Elna Mae Lawler of Summitville and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Floyd Chambers in 1998, siblings, Marie (Gerald) Waymire, Hector (Gyneath) Lawler, Charles Lawler, Geraldine (Roy) Wheasler and Pauline (Print) Young.
Service will be 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Bob Bell officiating burial will follow in East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to American Heart Association or Bethany Christian Church.
