Obituary

Theresa (Zlotnick) Manzi, 89, of Webster died Sunday, January 29 in Webster Manor after a period of declining health. Her husband of 62 years, James J. Manzi died in 2014.

She leaves a son, Anthony J. Manzi and his wife Elizabeth, of Webster; a daughter, Carla Manzi and her husband James P. Mason, of Webster; four grandchildren, Jill (Ostrokolowicz) Katsiroubas and her husband Theodore, of Newton; Maria (Ostrokolowicz) Beaudette and her husband Michael, of Webster; James Manzi and Alicia Manzi, both of Webster; four great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Tessa, Noah and Mia; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Michael, Stanley and Benjamin Zlotnick and by 4 sisters, Janet McGee, Rose Santosuosso, Olga Condos and Lena Zlotnick.

She was born in Oxford a daughter of Ignatius and Victoria (Nalepa) Zlotnick. She was a graduate of Oxford High School.

Mrs. Manzi worked several years as a telephone operator before marriage. She then became a homemaker, devoting herself to raising her children. Her greatest joy was the time she spent with her family.

Theresa’s family would like to express appreciation for the kind and gentle care she received from the staff at Webster Manor during the past year and a half.

The funeral will be held Thursday, February 2, 2017, from Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, with a Mass at 11:00 A.M. in Saint Louis Church, 14 Lake Street. Burial will be private. A calling period will be from 9:00 to 10:30 A.M. Thursday morning in the funeral home. Memorial donations in her name may be made to Saint Louis Endowment Fund, 15 Lake Street, Webster, MA 01570.
