DAVIDSON, Barbara H., 82, passed away on Tuesday January 17, 2017 in Newton, MA. Barbara was born on August 26, 1934 to Carl Strauss Herrmann and Bertha Irene Bates Herrmann in Newton, MA. She grew up in Wellesley, MA and attended Wheaton College, graduating in 1956. In 1957, she married the late Malcolm Davidson of Wellesley, MA. Barbara was active as a volunteer with the junior league of Boston and enjoyed her many years making floral arrangements for the Boston Pops, Boston Symphony Orchestra, and the Newton-Wellesley Hospital Gift Shop. She leaves behind 2 sons, Malcolm Charles Davidson (Juli) of Austin, TX and Allen Douglas Davidson (Leslie) of Lake Forest, IL. She is also survived by a beloved grandson, AJ also of Lake Forest, IL.
Funeral services are private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Newton Wellesley Hospital Charitable Foundation.
