Cecile V. (Laliberte) Martino, age 97 of Lawrence and formerly of Methuen passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2017. Cecile was born in Lawrence on November 23, 1919 to the late Henri and Jeanne (Picard) Laliberte. She was a former communicant of Our Lady of Good Counsel-St. Theresa’s Parish. Cecile enjoyed crocheting, baking, cooking and helping others learn to cook. She also enjoyed spending time with her family. She especially appreciated her friends and the Staff at the Mary Immaculate Center of Lawrence.
Cecile was the beloved wife of the late Angelo Martino. She was the devoted mother of Ron Martino and his wife Maureen of Newburyport, and Dennis Martino and his wife Tracy of Hopkinton, NH. Cecile was the dear sister in law of Sally Webb and Ann Martino. She was the loving grandmother of Mark Martino, Paul Martino and Tanya Van Wert. She was the cherished great grandmother of Becky, Matt, P.K., Tom, Grace, Will, Megan, Annie, and Caroline. Cecile is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 11 siblings.
