Rusty Krewson
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Monday, January 16, 2017, James E. “Rusty” Krewson, 68.
Rusty was an entrepreneur that owned his own landscaping business for a number of years. After graduating from Butler High in 1966 he went to work at Georgia Railroad Bank in the early era of computers. Following his days with the bank, he worked as maintenance supervisor at North Augusta High School and other properties throughout Augusta. Rusty loved animals and plants especially African Violets. He was an avid go-cart racer who won many victories. He had a great memory for historical facts. He never met a stranger and loved to debate anyone who would take him on.
Family members include his mother: Jean Krewson,; sister: Gayle Duffie (Steve); brother: Rick Krewson (Deborah); nieces: Kelly Bhika (Samir), Lynn Large (Michael); and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and beloved pets. The family asks that memorials contributions be made to American Heart Assoc:
A memorial service will be held Friday, January 20, 2017 at 5:00 P.M. at the chapel of Thomas Poteet and Son.
