Jack Terrell McCoy, Sr.
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Monday, January 16, 2017, Mr. Jack Terrell McCoy Sr., 87, leaving his wife of 65 years Mrs. Connie W. McCoy to cherish his memory.
Jack, known affectionately by his family as “PaPa”, was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was infinitely kind-natured and always displayed a warm smile. Jack was an active member of St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church for many years. He left a positive impact on the lives of everyone he met and will be dearly missed by all.
Family members in addition to his wife include daughters: Angela M. McRae of Augusta, Terryl M. Radeck (Jack) of Evans, Karen M. Lamar (Gene) of North Augusta, SC; son: Jack T. McCoy, Jr. (Robin) of Aiken, SC; grandchildren: Brian McRae, Aimee McRae, Ashley Radeck, John O’Connor Radeck, Jr.(Lauren), Philip Radeck (Anna), Ryan McCoy, Allison Boyd (Kenneth), Connie McCoy, Kelly McCoy, Lauren Peters (Clint), Katie Kirbo (Josh) and Matthew Lamar; 12 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be Thursday, January 19, 2017, 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel at Thomas Poteet & Son with Chaplain Dusty Wammack officiating. Interment will be private. Pallbearers will be his grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2607 Commons Blvd., Augusta, GA 30909.
