In Taunton, January 15, 2017 Blanche A. “Bunny” Southam, Passed away in her home peacefully at the age of 90. Blanche was the loving wife of the late John Warden Southam. She was born in Taunton, the daughter of the late Clemens & Agnieszka ( Petecki) Susol. Blanche had resided all her life in Taunton. She attended Taunton schools and was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School, class of 1944. Blanche was employed as a secretary for Reed & Barton Silver Company and following that worked as a cook for the Diocese of Fall River for three different churches, including St Mary’s in Taunton, St. Ann’s in Raynham and Holy Trinity in West Harwich. She enjoyed eating out, walking, traveling and spending time with her family and friends. Blanche is survived by her children, David Southam and his fiancee’ Diane Cunio of Dennisport, John “Jack” Southam and his wife Marilyn of Taunton, Peter Southam and his longtime companion Elizabeth Correia of Taunton and Patricia A. Calice and her husband Robert of New Jersey. Her late brother Ferdinand Susol and late sister in law Jean Southam. Blanche also leaves her grandchildren Roxanna Reese, Ross Southam, Mark Southam and Keith Southam. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 28th at 11 am. at St. Ann’s Church in Raynham. Visitation will kindly be omitted and burial is private at the request of the family.
